Little bit late?

Yes… but finally it is alive.

We present to you the little attachement of Charles Mantis formally known as

“The Pet”

… but this is the reason, why we sometimes cannot work properly!

Looking for junkfood to keep our brains running and what do you get? An empty, yet still sealed bottle of a beverage we all know. And an empty, yet still sealed wrapping of a chocolate bar. We got both during the last week.

Capitalism at its best

What’s a movie without the appropriate sound? Same question arose amongst the Mantis crew, so we discussed various ways of what the score should be like. We tried several approaches, including orchestral tunes, south delta slide guitar blues, jazz trios, you name it. Finally we ended up with the conviction that we need nice, handmade piano music, pretty much the style of old silent movies, yet not as exaggerated.
Fortunately, among the widely spread talents within our production team, we also have a piano player to take care of this part. So, after a couple of days of composing based on our layout animation, we already have the score finished. Here you can take a glimpse on it (Score for the last scene)

So we were very busy in the last weeks and neglected the blog a bit.

The environment and props are nearly complete.

So here is our first rendertest .
